De-harnessing!

Beach! Brighton Beach! Yaayy!!!

It started off as a workywalkies but ..... well .... there's really only one thing to do on a beach...... FREERUNNNNNN!!!! I persuaded Mummy to do the decent thing and de-harness me! Heehee!

I have earned it today I think. I have workywalkiesded Mummy for a total of about 8 miles. The first bit of this was this morning when I took her on a very pleasant, slightly off the beaten track route to the shoppybit of Shoreham. On the way back, we were walking along the busy big road Mum says is called Upper Shoreham Road. I realised though that we were on the wrong side of the road. Buckingham Park is on the OTHER side! Well I soon sorted out that mistake! Mummy said 'straight on' but we got to the black and white stripey crossing and I steered her very firmly straight to the crossing and I planted my bum very firmly on the ground at the kerb! Her mouth turn way up at the corners and she gave me a head rub and said 'OK. Come on then. Forward'. That crossing led straight to the gate of the park so I got my first de-harnessing of the day! Heeheee! OK, it was only a brief freerun, but it was great to stretch out and have a good sniff about, before re-harnessing and workywalkiesing the rest of the way back to Puppa's home. That meant I had to 'Find the crossing' again. This one had a button to hup and find too. I like this kind of crossing. When I hup and touch the button for Mummy I get a yummy!

This afternoon's workywalkies included a visit to a Pets at Home. It seems that I don't have quite enough of my food here at Puppa's home to last until we go home. So tonight's dinner had some super scrummy wet meat in it as well as a little of my usual kibble. It was deliscrummylicious!

2 photos of me on pebbly Brighton Beach.
